Self service
If you do not require a maintenance contact or service, it is recommended to do the following to your system at least every 6 months:

Ensure good ventilation around UPS at all times. To ensure optimum performance and life of the UPS the ambient temperature should never exceed 25 degrees C.

Never position a UPS near water pipes, sprinklers or under air conditioners.

Do not allow building or electrical work to be carried out on or near the UPS unless the unit has been switch off and disconnected. Make sure that the units environment is clean before switching on.

Connecting the output of the UPS to the input will cause damage to the unit.

Perform a mains failure / battery discharge test at least every 6 months.

High voltages exist in a UPS even if it has been switched off and disconnected. Never attempt to service or repair a unit. If the UPS needs a service or repair, please contact us Click here
